Each participant will receive a name badge upon registration. For security reasons all participants are requested to wear their badge during all the Meeting activities and social events.
Banks are open between 09.30/10.00 and 15.00 on weekdays. Some banks in Uppsala are open from 09.00 to 17.00.
Major credit cards are accepted in hotels, restaurants and shops. It is advisable to carry an identity card or any form of photo identification.

The weather in Uppsala at this time of the year is usually sunny with temperatures approximately 12-16 degrees Celsius; showers may occur.
Informal dress is recommended.
The Organising Committee and Congrex Sweden AB accept no liability for any injuries/losses incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor loss of, or damage to, any luggage and/or personal belongings.
Electrical current in Sweden is 220 V/50 Hz. Round, European-style two-pin plugs are used. Appliances designed to operate on 110/120 Volts need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.
Coffee and lunch are included in the registration fee and will be served daily.
The registration desk and Meeting secretariat is located at Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall.
On-site registration will open on April 21 12.00 - 18.00 . On April 22, registration will be open from 7.30 – 17.00.
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Sweden. Please note that if you wish to participate in a tour outside Sweden, you may need a multiple entry visa to Sweden. Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the Meeting, should contact the Meeting secretariat at no later than March 15, 2009. The invitation letter will be issued once the registration form and payment has been received by Congrex.

Uppsala is located 45 km/28 miles north of Arlanda International Airport
Trains leave Stockholm-Arlanda for Uppsala Central station directly from Sky City. You can buy tickets at the airport railway station. The price is about SEK 100. You can search for departures at http://www.sj.se/ . The trip takes 15-20 minutes.
There are also several taxi companies operating from the airport. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approx. SEK 415. If you intend to take a taxi, we recommend you to agree a fare in advance. The airport bus to and from Bromma airport connects with flight arrivals and departures. Price, single ticket approx. SEK 70, return ticket approx. SEK 100. Bromma Airport is approximately a 15-minute drive from the City Terminal in the heart of Stockholm, but the drive may take longer depending on the traffic situation. From Stockholm
we can recommend train to Uppsala. The price is approx. SEK 70 and depends on the time of the day. Trains leave for Uppsala twice every hour from about 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Stockholm-Uppsala takes about 40 minutes.
From Skavsta Airport there are flight shuttle buses that leave for Stockholm Central Station 30 minutes after every Ryan Air arrival. The trip takes approximately 80 minutes and cost approx. SEK 130 one way and approx. SEK 200 return ticket. (more information on http://www.flygbussarna.com ). From Stockholm we can recommend train to Uppsala. The price is approx. SEK 60 but depends on the time of the day. Trains leave for Uppsala twice every hour from about 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Stockholm-Uppsala takes about 40 minutes.
From Västerås Airport, you can take local bus 941 to Västerås city and the Central railway and bus station. The ticket is about SEK 20, and the trip takes about 15 minutes. From the Central station, you can choose to take a train to Uppsala or
regional bus number 804. buses leave twice every hour from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and at least once every hour on Saturday and Sunday. The price is about SEK 30-60 and the trip from Västerås Central station to Uppsala Central station takes about 90 minutes.
Uppsala city centre is dense. Almost all hotels, restaurants, cultural attractions and places of entertainment are within walking distance. There is an extensive network of local busses for travel within Uppsala.
Swedish VAT, currently between 6% and 25% may be repaid to foreign enterprises, except banks and insurance companies, or companies providing health care or education. Information about the refunding of VAT will be available from the Meeting Secretariat.
Less than 1 hour from Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, lays Uppsala , the 4th largest city in Sweden. Reaching Uppsala from Europe and the rest of the world is easy as there are frequent bus and train services from the international airport Arlanda. The 35 km ride only takes 20 minutes by train. For more than 500 years, Uppsala has provided an inspiring environment for the advancement of science, literature and art. Carolus Linnaeus , Ingmar Bergman and Dag Hammarsköld are among those who have lived and worked here. Uppsala University was founded in 1477, and the beautiful Main Building, was inaugurated in 1887. Today Uppsala University has more than 30.000 registered students. In addition, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences also resides in Uppsala. Also, when in Uppsala, take the opportunity to visit the Dome of Uppsala, the largest cathedral in Scandinavia. It was inaugurated in 1435 and provides a very impressive example of gothic architecture. Other sights are the Gustavianum with its Anatomical Theatre and the art cabinet of Augsburg, the University Library Carolina Rediviva with the Silver Bible, and the Linnaeus Garden. Uppsala Castle as well as the burial mounds of pagan kings at Old Uppsala both held dramatic events in their past.
